[ § 01 ] — About the studio
Founder-led. Lahore-based. Worldwide.

We build websites the old-fashioned way. By hand. And they win.

Blunor is a founder-led web studio. Hamid Sheikh leads every brief; a tight in-house team of 12–15 senior specialists ships it. No account managers between you and the work, no offshore overflow, no surprises in the invoice.

[ 01 ] — The story

Twelve years of shipping the kind of website we would actually pay for ourselves.

I started Blunor in 2013 — back when WordPress was still called 'just a blog platform' and clients were happy with a slow, plugin-heavy site as long as it had a fancy slider. I wasn't.

Twelve years on, what started as one person hand-coding themes is now a tight, founder-led studio: 12–15 senior specialists working in-house out of Lahore. WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, AI integrations, GEO — every discipline staffed by people I've personally trained or hand-picked. 1,500+ five-star reviews on Fiverr Pro (where my profile holds a 42% map-domination score in our category) and a roster of clients in 80+ countries tells us the model works.

Here is the part that has not changed: I take every discovery call myself. I sign off every scope before it lands in your inbox. Every Friday Loom comes from me. You will not be handed off to a junior account manager, and we do not outsource. The work happens in-house, under my direction, and I am the one you call when something needs deciding.

"If a website can't earn back what it costs, we won't build it. That's the only line we refuse to cross."

[ 02 ] — How we work

Five working principles that have not changed in twelve years.

  1. 01

    Founder-led, in-house

Every brief crosses Hamid's desk. Every call goes through him. The work happens in-house with our senior team — no offshore overflow, no outsourcing.

  2. 02

    Speak in plain English

If we can't explain what we just did and why, we haven't finished the work yet.

  3. 03

    Don't ship junk

Hand-coded over page-builder where we can; meticulously executed where the brief calls for Elementor. Tests pass. Lighthouse is green before any of us sleep.

  4. 04

    Refuse misaligned work

If your budget and the scope don't fit, Hamid will say so on the discovery call. Time saved for both of us.

  5. 05

    Stay close after launch

30-day post-launch window is free. After that, a small retainer if you want one. No lock-in.

[ 03 ] — The stack

The tools I trust to ship — and the ones I never touch.

Twelve years tells you what works. Twelve years also tells you what to walk away from. Here's the short list of both.

In the toolbox
  • Hand-coded WordPress themes — our preferred path, when the brief allows
  • Elementor, Bricks, Divi — fully supported when the client prefers a page builder
  • WooCommerce & Shopify — custom checkout, real performance
  • Editor-friendly custom fields — non-developers edit every section
  • OpenAI, Gemini, ElevenLabs, Twilio, n8n for AI & automation
  • Tailwind, semantic HTML, JSON-LD schema baked into every build
  • Lighthouse 90+ on mobile, every build
Politely declined
  • "30 plugins to do one thing" — security & speed tax
  • Generic AI chat widgets bolted on for theatre
  • "Black-box SEO retainers" with no measurable outcome
  • Cheap themes from marketplaces dressed up as bespoke
  • Anything we can't explain to a non-technical client
